UNDER CONSTRUCTION
The Nematology Laboratory of UFSCar has the necessary equipment to determine levels of occurrence of nematodes through the processing of soil samples and plant roots, quantification of parasites known to be harmful to annual, semi-perennial or perennial crops.
LAGEM was formed with resources from UFSCar and FAPESP. It consists of classrooms, computers, library and several laboratories with the latest equipment. Among its duties, the following stand out: diagnosis of diseases of different crops, genetic sequencing of microorganisms, student guidance, diverse research, etc.
